The Martin-Gropius-Bau, the former Museum of Decorative Arts in Berlin, is an exhibition center in the Berlin district of Kreuzberg , the big houses temporary exhibitions. The building is located in the Niederkirchnerstraße 7th It is situated on the border of the district center , and was until 1990 directly to the Berlin Wall to West Berlin side.The building was built in 1877-1881 by the architect Martin Gropius (a great uncle of Walter Gropius ) and Heino forging the style of the Italian Renaissance.
